Sussex Girl Declared Officially Missing In Cambodia

A girl from Sussex has gone missing in Koh Rong, Cambodia.

 

Amelia Bambridge, a 21-year-old from Worthing has been declared officially missing.

 

Bambridge is on a gap year and was with a group of fellow travellers on the island of Koh Rong in Cambodia.

 

The former BHASVIC student was scheduled to check out of her hostel on Wednesday 23rd October with a friend she had met.

 

Authorities have now declared her as officially missing.

 

 

Over 72 hours since her disappearnce, police and scuba divers have been trying to trace her steps since she was last seen at a beach party. Amelia's phone, purse, and bank cards were discovered on a nearby beach and her purple rucksack found on the rocks.

 

 

Her brother Harry has taken to Facebook to ask people to pray for his sister. He wrote, "I'm about to board a plane from LA as she's been missing on her travels in Cambodia for over 48 hours now. I've asked who ever might be up there, to look after her for just another 20 hours and her big brother will be there as soon as I can be."
