Sussex Police are investigating an attempted abduction in Eastbourne.
On Friday 8th November during 5pm and 6pm, a man attempted to abduct a teenage girl in the Old Town area of Eastbourne. It happened in the vicinity of East Dean Road and Green Street.
An unidentified man grabbed a 13-year-old girl and tried to force her to come with him. The abductor let the victim go as a passing motorist stopped as if ready to intervene.
Police are asking for the passing motorist to get in touch as well as anyone that may have relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage.
